 Mumbai FC Vs Jamshedpur FC at GMC Stadium, Bambolin, Goa

 The trouble with referees is that they know the rules, but they don't know the game. ...Goes the famous saying and often comes out true because the referee is supposed to know the rules and play them according to the FIFA rules, but the application of the rule is the problem.

Background: Mumbai FC started the match at the table Toppers and Jamshedpur FC has every right to be optimistic, as they already faced this kind of situation with ATK and has defeated them. So we are going to witness a free-flowing team with the Men of Steels nerves to see how things shape out.  While you have a Valiskis on one side and Ogbeche accompanied by Le-Fondre you are going to see an attacking game with lots of Goals

On the other hand, it is going to be officiated by  C R Srikrishna who already has shown 14 yellow cards in 3 matches, so we can have a flurry of cards for sure in this game.

The Battle on the field:

On the very 2nd Minute Borges spots Biopin making a run cross behind the full-back and share a pass which puts him through the goal. Mumbai started showing their intent and will loud and clear from the very start.

The 9th minute shows the goal from a counter-attack. Jackichand snatches a ball from Ogbeche and passes the ball to Valiskis who does what he does best ...Goal...what a score by the prolific scorer.

On the 14th minute, Goddard was going past Monroy who hacked him down ...Monroy Shown the yellow card, and no doubt on that.

On the 15th Minute Mumbai equalises, Biopion being feed from Le-Fondre puts it up to Ogbeche who shots the Goal...Seems we are going to see a flurry of Goals tonight.

On the 28th minute, Monroy got on a collision with Rowlin and was shown a 2nd Yellow card. It was undoubtedly a dubious decision from the Srikrishna and we must say this is the cards which shape the game, not the goals only. It should not have been a second Yellow here.

Will be Jamshedpur be able to show the nerve of steel and show their true character?

On the 45+2' minute, Rehnesh makes a glorious save to keep Jamshedpur on the game.

HALFTIME::: JFC Vs MFC 1:1

Lots of missed chances from Mumbai FC in this session but it looks like when you have abundant chances and could not score in the first half it would be seriously difficult to score a goal in the 2nd half. And the same happened.

In the 87th minute, Ranwade is booked, after he fouled Issac down.

So it seems it was a lesser number of cards shown by Srikrishna today, but the 2nd yellow to Monroy was neither necessary nor should have been in any case, and dampened the game.
